Learning Techniques

Go out into the world and photograph the alphabet. The only rule is that you can’t point your camera at a letter on a sign.

Get a basketball and photograph it in as many different ways as you can without ever photographing the entire basketball.

Tape a piece of black tape over your LCD and view finder and go out and take 100 photos.

Take photos without getting structured.

Go out with just one lens and make an agreement that you’ll just use that lens.

Try going out to shoot just certain colors.

A third excercise is to go out with a little kid and ask them to help you take photos.
